Operasyon ng NAIA, 2 beses nabalam kasunod ng pagtataas ng Lightning Red Alert

Dalawang beses nabalam ang operasyon ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ngayong araw.

Ito ay matapos itaas ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Ground Operations and Safety Division ang Lightning “Red” Alert.

Unang itinaas ang Lightning Red Alert kaninang 1:32 PM subalit ibinaba rin agad ito sa “Yellow” kaninang alas-1:47 ng hapon.

Subalit dahil sa pagbuhos ng malakas na ulan sa NAIA Complex na sinamahan ng malakas na pagkulog at matatalim na kidlat, muling itinaas ang Lightning Red Alert dakong 2:36 PM.

Layunin ng Lightning Red Alert na mapag-ingat ang mga tauhan ng paliparan gayundin ang mga pasahero mula sa peligrong dulot ng masamang panahon.

Alas-3:27 naman ng hapon nang muling bumalik sa normal ang operasyon sa NAIA matapos muling ibaba sa Yellow ang Lightning Alert. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
