OVP, DepEd, DENR, nagkaroon ng MOU para sa pagtatanim ng isang milyong puno sa ilalim ng National Greening Program

Lumagda ng isang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ang Office of the Vice President (OVP), Department of Education (DepEd), at Department of Environment and National Resources (DENR) para sa pagtatanim ng mga puno para sa National Greening Program at ang bagong lunsad na programa ng OVP at DepEd na Project PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners and Trees.

Personal na lumagda si Vice President at DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte at si DENR Secretary Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga sa naturang MOU upang mas mapagtibay pa ng dalawang kagawaran ang programa at inisyatibo ng Ikalawang Pangulo ng bansa.

Ayon kay Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte, layon ng naturang MOU na magkaroon ng inisyatobo ang nasabing departamento na makapagtanim ng isang milyong puno hanggang sa 2028 sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Dagdag pa ng Ikalawang Pangulo na bukod sa tree planting, nais ding makapagbahagi ng isang milyong bag na may lamang school supplies sa mga mag-aaral na lalahok sa naturang programa.

Sa huli sinabi ni VP Sara na tanging hangad niya na maging aware ang mga kabataan sa environment conservation at ng may manahin pa ang susunod na henerasyon. | ulat ni Arrian Jeff Ignacio
