Pagpapasinaya ng Batangas Housing Project para sa mga biktima ng pagputok ng Taal Volcano noong 2020, dinaluhan ni Senador Francis Tolentino

Pinasinayaan ni Senador Francis Tolentino ang inauguration ng bagong housing units para sa mga residente ng naapektuhan ng 2020 Taal Volcano eruption sa Talisay, Batangas.

Ayon kay Tolentino, ang naturang housing project na nasa Talisay Residences Phase II sa Barangay Tranca ay inaasahang makakatulong sa 425 na mga pamilya oras na matapos na ito.

Ngayon araw, 150 na housing units ang pinasinayaan, 150 units ang inaasahang makumpleto sa katapusan ng July habang 125 units ang inaasahang matatapos sa katapusan ng Nobyembre ng taong ito.

Si Tolentino, na chairperson ng Senate Committee on Urban Planning, Housing and Resettlement noong 18th congress, ang nagpasimula ng proyekto sa pakikipagtulungan sa National Housing Authority (NHA) at lokal na pamahalaan ng Talisay.

Ang mga residenteng nabigyan ng housing units ay galing sa Taal Volcano Island na ngayon ay hazard zone.

Base sa datos ng NHA, nasa 53,697 na indibidwal o 10,131 na sambahayan ang naapektuhan sa buong probinsya ng Batangas.

Karamihan sa mga ito sa munisipalidad ng Talisay, Malvar, Tanauan, Laurel, Agoncillo, Santa Teresita, Cuenca, Alitagtag, Mataas na Kahoy, Lipa City, Balete, at San Nicolas. | ulat ni Nimfa Asuncion
