Sinabi ni DAR Undersecretary for Support Services Office Milagros Isabel Cristobal, ipinatupad ang kasunduan sa ilalim ng Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (PAHP).
Sa pamamagitan din nito ay mapapataas ang farm productivity income at matiyak ang food security gayundin na mabawasan ang lebel ng malnutrisyon sa rural communities.
