Panukalang mandatory ROTC bill sa Senado, nakatakdang isalang sa plenaryo sa pagbabalik ng sesyon ngayong Hulyo

Nakatakda nang isalang sa plenaryo ng Senado ang mungkahing pagbabalik ng mandatory Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) sa pagbabalik ng sesyon nito ngayong Hulyo.

Ito ang inihayag ni Sen. Francis Tolentino sa isinagawang press conference nitong Biyernes sa Davao City.

Ayon kay Tolentino, natapos na ang committee report sa nasabing proposed bill para maaprubahan na ito sa Senado at maaring sasalang sa bicameral committee hearing.

Ilan sa mga bagong component sa ROTC na inilagay sa Senate bill ay ang police service kung saan kasama sa curriculum nito ang traffic management at Women’s and Children’s Protection.

Tiniyak ng senador na magiging batas ang ang nasabing panukala ngayong taon dahil isa ito sa prayoridad ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. | ulat ni Armando Fenequito | RP1 Davao
