Pilipinas at India, lumagda ng MOU para sa isang Joint Working Group sa larangan ng financial technology

Lumagda ang Department of Finance at ang Indian Counterpart nito ng isang Memorandum of Understanding na bubuo ng isang Joint Working Group sa larangan ng Financial Technology o FinTech.

Layunin ng nasabing MOU na pagtibayin pa ang kooperasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa sa larangan ng financial technology at iba pang mga usapin.

Sa kanyang talumpati, sinabi ni Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno na ang kasunduan sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at India ay magpapalakas sa digital governance, pag-mainstream sa digital fund transfer platforms, at magtataguyod sa paggamit ng digital signature.

Para naman kay Indian Ambassador to the Philippines Shambu Kumaran, sinabi nito na ang nasabing kasunduan ay magbibigay sa parehong bansa ng potensyal sa larangan ng digital economy. | ulat ni Gab Humilde Villegas
