Ikalulugod ng mga bayani ng bansa na malaman na natuldukan na ng Pilipinas ang banta ng dominasyon, at hindi na muling magpapasailalim sa anu mang bansa ang Pilipinas.

Pahayag ito ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa selebrasyon ng ika-125 Anibersaryo ng Philippine Independence Day, kasabay ng pagsisiguro sa mga Pilipino na ang kaniyang administrasyon ay patuloy na isusulong ang kalayaan ng bansa, partikular mula sa mapanirang political at social conditions.
“With this desire, let us renew the pledge made by our forefathers: imbued with firm confidence in Divine Providence. Let us bind ourselves to support our free and independent Republic, if need be with our lives, with our fortunes, and with our most sacred blessing — our honor.” — Pangulong Marcos.
Kaugnay nito, nanawagan ang pangulo sa mga Pilipino na magkaisa upang ganap na maisulong pa ang ipinaglabang kapayapaan, at upang ganap na maabot ang progreso sa buonh bansa, kung saan walang Pilipino ang maiiwan.
