Ipinakilala ni Departmemt of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Alfredo Pascual ang Pilipinas bilang isang magandang investment destination na layong pasiglahin ang potensyal na pakikipagtulungan at kolaborasyon sa mga kumpanyang Pranses sa roundtable meeting kasama ang MEDEF International na isang non-profit private-funded organization na binubuo ng mga kinatawan mula sa mga French business.

Sa kanyang mensahe, kinilala ni Secretary Pascual ang MEDEF International bilang instrumento sa pagpapalakas ng relasyon sa kalakalan at pamumuhunan sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at France.

Gayundin, binanggit niya na sinimulan ng gobyerno na ilunsad ang Philippine Business Hub (PBH), na magpapadali sa business transaction sa pamamagitan ng digital at online na proseso.

Hiniling rin ng kalihim ang suporta ng mga negosyong Pranses sa pinakamahalagang agenda ng Pilipinas kasama ang Europa, ang pag-renew ng European Union Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus (EU-GSP+) na mga preference at ang pagpapatuloy ng negosasyon para sa Philippines-European Union Free Trade Agreement (PH-EU FTA).  | ulat ni Gab Humilde Villegas
