Pinapayuhan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang publiko na manatiling mapanuri at huwag basta naniniwala sa mga alok online na nangangako ng making return at mababang risk.
Ayon sa pangulo, kung mataas ang kamalayaan ng publiko sa kung ano ang makatotohanan at mapanlinlang na alok, magiging mahirap para sa mga scammer ang makapangbiktima.
“It really comes down to the public. My advice to the public is that when you get the message and there is a deal being presented and it sounds to good to be true, it is. There is no such thing as hundred percent risk free, there is no way to guarantee this enormous returns on what they are claiming.” —Pangulong Marcos Jr.
Ang pamahalaan aniya, kumikilos na at patuloy na pinalalakas ang kapabilidad laban sa online scammers.
Isang halimbawa dito ang SIM card registration law.
“The SIM card registration I think was a big step and I think we are getting to the point where we have disposed of or taken out of the system many of the SIM cards that have not been registered because they have been used for illegal purposes.” —Pangulong Marcos.
Pagtitiyak ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa oras na mapatunayang guilty ang isang indibidwal o grupo sa mga panloloking ito, mahaharap sa kaparusahan ang mga nasa likod nito.
