Tulong para sa mga pamilyang apektado ng pag-aalburoto ng Bulkang Mayon, inihanda ng Office of the House Speaker at Tingog party-list

Kabuuang P33-million na tulong ang inihanda ng Office of the House Speaker at Tingog party-list na ipamamahagi sa residente ng tatlong distrito ng Albay.

Bunsod pa rin ito ng pag-aalburoto ng Bulkang Mayon.

Tig-P500,000 na cash donation ang ibibigay sa 1st, 2nd at 3rd district ng Albay maliban pa sa P500,000 na halaga ng relief goods o katumbas ng 1,420 relief packs kada distrito, na hinugot mula sa personal disaster response fund ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Dadaan naman ito sa tanggapan nina Albay 1st District Rep. Edcel Lagman; 2nd District, Rep. Joey Salceda; at 3rd District, Rep. Fernando Cabredo.

Ani Romualdez, nakikiisa ng House of Representatives sa hamong kinakaharap ngayon ng mga taga-Albay.

Bagama’t wala umanong control sa kung sasabog ng aba ang bulkan ay hindi rin naman nito mapipigilan ang pagpapakita ng malasakit sa kapwa na ngayon ay nangangailangan ng tulong.

“The members of the House are one with the people of Albay during this challenging time. Mayon Volcano’s eruption is something that we cannot stop, but so is showing malasakit to our countrymen when difficulties arise. Together, we will ride out this calamity,” ani Romualdez.

Maliban dito, nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang House leader kay DSWD Sec. Rex Gatchalian para sa pamamahagi ng P10-million halaga ng ayuda sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.

“We expect this assistance from the DSWD, along with our humble contribution, to ease the worries that our kababayans in Albay may have for the immediate future. Nakahanda po kaming tumugon sa mga pangangailangan ninyo, kahit na magtagal ang kalamidad na ito,” dagdag ni Romualdez.
