Marvin Rillo, miyembro ng House Committee on Appropriations, ang naturang subsidiya ay nakapaloob sa Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASTPE).

Nahahati naman ito sa Senior High School Voucher Program (SHSVP), ₱39.3 billion; Junior High School Educational Service Contracting Program (JHSESC), ₱12.5 billion; at Joint Delivery Voucher Program (JDVP), ₱1.4 billion.

“The ₱53 billion is nearly double the ₱28 billion budget for GASTPE in 2022. We, in Congress, are absolutely determined to help keep more students in school through GASTPE and other initiatives,” saad ni Rillo.

“The enlarged GASTPE funding will also help keep private high schools financially viable,” dagdag ng kongresista. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
