1st Dapa Siargao International Dragon Boat Festival, opisyal nang sinimulan kahapon ng Sabado, July 15, 2023.

Ang seremonya ay isinagawa sa Sunrise Boulevard sa Brgy. Poblacion, Dapa, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte

Isa sa nga pangunahing bisita si Presidential Son William Vincent ‘Vinny’ A. Marcos, na nagpaabot ng pagbati sa 28 participating teams.

“To all our international guests, I extend my warmest welcome and deepest gratitude for your support and for gracing us with your participation. Your presence here is a testament to the unifying power of sports and the shared joy that binds us all,” bahagi ng mensahe ni Vinny Marcos kasabay ng pagbibigay diin sa kahalagahan ng nasabing kompetisyon.
