AFP, nag-deploy ng mga sasakyan para sa libreng sakay

Nasa 17 truck, bus, at coaster ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang naka-standby para sa “libreng sakay.”

Ayon kay AFP Spokesperson Col. Medel Aguilar, ito ay pang-suporta sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) upang makatulong sa mga commuter na maaring maapektohan ng transport strike ngayong araw.

Bahagi din aniya ito ng mga hakbang upang masiguro na maging maayos at matiwasay ang pagdaraos ng ikalawang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ng Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Sinabi ni Aguilar na ang mga sasakyan na mula sa iba’t ibang unit ng AFP at AFP Logistics Command ay nasa ilalim ng control ng Joint Task Force NCR.

Naghihintay lang aniya ang mga sasakyan ng assignment sa partikular na ruta mula sa DOTr at MMDA sa pamamagitan ng Inter-Agency Coordinating Center, bago palabasin. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
