Sa tulong ng ilang government agencies, nagpadala na ng 300 family food packs ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa lalawigan ng Batanes.
Ayon sa DSWD, ang padalang suplay na pagkain ay isinakay kahapon sa Philippine Air Force C295 aircraft.
Ang hakbang na ito ay bahagi ng pagsisikap ng Kagawaran sa paghahanda sa kalamidad para sa Tropical Storm Egay.
Kasama ng DSWD sa paghahanda at paghahatid ng food packs ang Social Welfare and Development (SWAD); Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD); Philippine National Police; Bureau of Fire Protection; Philippine Marine Corps; Philippine Airforce at mga personnel at staff ng Provincial Government of Batanes.
