Hinihintay na lang ng Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso ang pag-alis ng Office of the President at Department of Health sa public health emergency para tuluyang magbalik face to face sessions.
Ayon kay House Secretary General Reginald Velasco, oras na i-lift na ang emergency status ay magiging mandatory na ang personal na pagdalo sa mga pagdinig sa komite at sesyon.
Katunayan, may ilan na aniyang komite na mas maliit lang ang bilang ng miyembro ang nagsimula na sa face-to-face committee hearings.
“Hopefully when the time comes, when the pandemic is over, officially declared by the Office of the President and the Department of Health agrees with it, then Congress will abide by that. Sa kasagsagan ng COVID-19 pandemic noong 2020 ay pinahintulutan ng Kamara ang hybrid set-up, kung saan maaaring dumalo ang mga mambabatas via tele o video conferencing sa committee hearings at plenary sessions bilang pagtalima sa health protocols.
