Pinuri ng mga mambabatas ang anila’y komprehensibong pag-uulat sa bayan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa kaniyang ikalawang State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Ayon kay Deputy Speaker Duke Frasco, ang lahat ng accomplishment na inilatag ni PBBM ay patunay sa hangarin nito na mapagbuti ang buhay ng bawat Pilipino at isulong ang bansa sa pagiging isang Bagong Pilipinas.
“His Excellency deserves the warmest congratulations for delivering a clear and comprehensive second State of the Nation Address. Indeed, the accomplishments and achievements that his Administration has attained in the past year have reassured us of his primary goal and aspiration to uplift the lives of every Filipino and build a ‘Bagong Pilipinas,'” ani Frasco.
Ikinalugod naman ni BHW Party-list Representative Angelica Natasha Co ang pagsisiguro ni PBBM na maibigay ang lahat ng COVID allowances na nararapat matanggap ng mga public at private healthcare workers.
Suportado naman ni Ang Probinsyano Partylist Representative Alfred Delos Santos ang pagpapalawak sa Kadiwa stores.
Aniya sa nalalapit na Budget Hearing ay titiyakin nilang mapopondohan ang programa.
“So, when the agency budgets are presented soon, we would like to see the budgets that match the prioritization the President specifically stated in his second SONA,” ani Delos Santos.
Nagpasalamat naman si KABAYAN Party-list Representative Ron Salo sa patuloy na pagkilala ng Chief Executive sa sakripisyo ng mga migrant workers.
Aniya, kapuri-puri ang mga hakbang na inilatag ng Marcos Jr. administration upang isulong ang kapakanan ng mga OFW.
Kasama na rito ang makatao at ligal na recruitment, pagpapalakas sa maritime education, skills development ng seafarers, at pinaigting na mekanismo para sa proteksyon, repatriation, at reintegration ng mga migrant worker.
“We join the President’s recognition on the significant contributions of our OFWs, who remain at the heart of our economic progress. Their sacrifices and dedication have paved the way for countless opportunities for fellow Filipinos, both at home and abroad. We stand united with the President in his vision for a more inclusive and prosperous future for our OFWs,” ani Salo.
