OVP, naglabas ng pahayag kaugnay sa paggamit ng confidential fund na na-flag ng COA

Naglabas ng pahayag ang Office of the Vice President (OVP) kaugnay sa paggamit nito ng confidential expenses nitong 2022.

Ito ay matapos punahin ng Commission on Audit (COA) ang paggamit nito sa naturang pondo na umabot sa P125 milyon habang bumaba umano ang expenses sa mga social subsidy.

Ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng OVP, nagamit nito nang maayos ang confidential fund alinsunod sa alituntunin ng pamahalaan.

Nagpaliwanag din ang OVP kaugnay sa pagbaba ng financial assistance o subsidy para sa 2021 at 2022.

Ayon sa OVP, ito ay dahil sa mababang budget o appropriation sa 2022 General Appropriations Act dahil na rin sa inaasahang election ban at transition period noong 2022.| ulat ni Diane Lear
