PAO Chief Persida Acosta, humingi ng paumanhin sa SC

Buong pusong nagpakumbaba sa Supreme Court si Atty. Percida Acosta, hepe ng Public Attorneys Office.

Ito’y matapos ibasura ng Korte Suprema ang petition ng PAO na ipabura ang Section 22 ng Cannon Law ng Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability.

Sinabi ni Acosta, hindi niya intension na sirain ang mga mahistrado, bagkus nais lamang nila na alisin ang nasabing bersyon dahil sa conflict of interest.

Ngunit dahil nagdesisyon na ang SC, tiniyak ni Acosta na susunod sila sa naturang desisyon at magpapasakop sa mga ipinag-uutos nito.

Tiniyak din ng PAO chief na kaisa sila ng Supreme Court sa pagpapatupad ng bagong Conduct of Professional Responsibility and Accountability. | ulat ni Michael Rogas
