PH Business for Education, umaasang ipagpapatuloy ng pamahalaan ang pagsasaayos sa sektor ng edukasyon

Umaasa ang grupong Philippine Business for Education (PBED) na ipagpapatuloy ng pamahalaan ang pagsasaayos sa sektor ng edukasyon ng bansa.

Sa isinagawang pulong balitaan, sinabi ni PBED President Chito Salazar, na kinakailangan ng long-term at sustainable solutions upang tugunan ang mga problema sa education sector. 

Binanggit rin ni Salazar, na nasimulan na rin ng pamahalaan ang mga reporma sa sektor ng edukasyon tulad ng pagkakaroon ng bagong liderato sa education sector, kung saan nakaupong Education Secretary si Vice President Sara Duterte na may karanasan sa local governance.

Ilan rin sa mga nasimulan ng pamahalaan ay ang MATATAG Agenda ng Department of Education (DepEd), ang pagbabalik ng face-to-face classes, pagbuo ng bagong basic education curriculum, at ang pag-convene ng EDCOM 2 na nagsasagawa ng comprehensive review sa education system ng bansa.

Nirerekomenda rin ng PBED sa mga policy maker, na makinig sa mga rekomendasyon ng mga eksperto at mga stakeholder. | ulat ni Gab Villegas
