Itinaas na sa “Yellow Alert” status ang Quezon City dahil kay bagyong #EgayPH.

Ibig sabihin, may mga paghahanda nang ginagawa ang Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO) matapos itaas ang tropical cyclone wind signal #1 ang Metro Manila.

Ayon kay QCDRRMO Spokesperson Pechie de Leon, may koordinasyon na sila sa lahat ng barangay sa lungsod para sa anumang kaganapan dulot ng bagyo.

Kasama ding nakaalerto ang Social Service Development Department para sa provision ng relief goods para sa maapektuhang barangay.

Sa ngayon, 24 oras silang nakatutok sa galaw ng bagyong Egay sa pamamagitan ng 50 Weather Stations na nakakalat sa lungsod Quezon.
