Sobrang terminal leave ng separated PCO employees, officials, patuloy na binabawi ng tanggapan

Agad na umaksyon ang Presidential Communications Office (PCO) sa Audit Observation Memorandum na ibinaba ng Commission on Audit (COA) sa PCO, kaugnay sa overpayment ng Terminal Leave Benefits ng separated officials at employees nito, na naaprubahan sa ilalim ng nagdaang PCO managment.

Tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng higit P26.7 million, ang forced leave at payments na mayroong incomplete documentary, ayon sa COA.

Sinabi ni PCO Secretary Cheloy Velicaria – Garafil na agad na tumugon ang PCO sa usaping ito, at nagpadala ng demand letters sa mga separated employee, upang i-refund ng mga ito ang overpaid terminal leave benefits.

Agad ring pina-review ng kalihim ang naaprubahang TLB applications at submissions ng mga incomplete requirements.

Sa kasalukuyan, naka-kuha na ng refund ang PCO mula sa 38 separated employees ng PCO na nagkakahalaga ng higit Php824, 000.

Una na rin itong nai-deposito sa Bureau of Treasury, habang nasa pitong dating empleyado pa ang nangako na magsasauli ng higit Php 200,000.

Kaugnay naman sa usapin sa incomplete documents, isinumite na ang Human Reource Development Division ang SALN ng separated employees.
