15 Private Armed Groups na nag-ooperate sa Maguindanao at North Cotabato, nalansag na ayon sa OPAPRU

May labing limang (15) Private Armed Groups (PAGs) sa Mindanao ang nalansag ng pamahalaan sa nagpapatuloy na peace process.

Sinabi ni Office of the Presidential Adviser in Peace, Reconciliation and Unity Director Wendell Orbeso, karamihan sa nalansag ay nag-ooperate sa Maguindanao at North Cotabato.

Abot sa siyamnapu (90) ang mga miyembro ng mga nabanggit na private armed group at halos nasa 200 armas din ang kanilang isinuko.

Sinabi pa ni Orbeso, karamihan sa mga miyembro ng armed groups ay napilitan lang sumapi dahil sa socio-economic condition.

Sa ngayon, isinasapinal pa ng OPAPRU sa kabuuang bilang ng mga private armed group sa Mindanao dahil tumataas umano ang bilang nito habang papalapit ang barangay elections.

Ang matagumpay na pagkalansag ng mga armed group ay dahil na rin sa pagtutulungan ng sampung ahensya ng pamahalaan. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
