Welcome sa Department of Finance ang 4.7 percent na July inflation.

Mas mababa ito mula sa 5.4 inflation ng June at pinakamababa mula March 2022.

Ayon sa DOF. ang tuloy-tuloy na pagbaba nito ay dahil sa mabagal na year-on-year increase sa housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels; food and non-alcoholic beverages; at transport.

Bagaman ang education inflation ay tumaas sa buwan ng July.

Àng patuloy na pagbaba ng inflation ay indikasyon na ‘on-track’ ang gobyerno upang makamit ang 2.0-4.0% target range hanggang matapos ang taon. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz-Reyes
