Ayuda programs ng pamahalaan, tuloy kahit inalis na ang State of Public Health Emergency

Hindi ihihinto ng pamahalaan ang pagpapatupad sa mga ayuda programs nito na una nang ikinasa noong kasagsagan ng COVDI-19 pandemic.

Sa pagsusumite ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ng 2024 National Expenditure Program sa Kamara, sinabi ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman na tuloy pa rin ang naturamg mga programa sa susunod na taon kahit inalis na ang State of Public Health Emergency.

Ilan sa mga programa ay ang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program na may ₱112.84-billion na proposed budget.

Tuloy din ang AICS program na may ₱20-billion at school based feeding program na may ₱11.7-billion.

Tuloy din ani Pangandaman ang pamamahaging fuel subsidy na may kabuuang ₱3.5-billion na funding.

Nasa ₱2.5-billion ay idadaan sa Department of Transportatiin at ₱1-billion pesos ang sa Department of Agriculture.

Pinaglaanan din ng pondo para sa 2024 ang COVID-19 compensation package at health emergency allowance ng mga healthcare at non-healthcare workers na may ₱20-billion na pondo.

Bagong ayuda program din aniya ang ilulunsadsa pamamagitan ng Walang Gutom o Food Stamp Program ng DSWD na may proposed budget na ₱1.89-billion pesos.

Bilang tapos na rin ang bansa sa pandemic responsw ay pinalakas din ng pamahalaan ang livelihood at employment programs.

Kasama na rito ang TUPAD na may ₱12.9-billion at integrated livelihood program na pinondohan ng ₱2.3-billion pesos. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
