Pumanaw na si dating Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary for Barangay Affairs Martin Diño.
Inanunsyo ito sa isang Facebook post ng kanyang anak na si Liza Diño-Seguerra.
Sa inilabas nitong pahayag, sinabi ni Seguerra na pumanaw ang kanyang ama kaninang alas-2:15 ng madaling araw, kasama ang mga mahal sa buhay.
Nagbalik tanaw rin ito ang naging legasiya ng ama na hindi lang aniya maituturing na isang ‘dedicated public servant’ kundi mapagmahal ring asawa, ama, at kaibigan.
“His contributions to our nation’s progress, particularly on local governance and community development, will forever stand as a testament to his commitment to a better society.”
Si Diño ay nagsilbing DILG Undersecretary sa ilalim ng Duterte administration. Nanilbihan rin ito bilang former chairman ng Subic Bay Maritime Authority (SBMA) at Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC).
