Naglatag na rin ang Quezon City Police District (QCPD) at ng ilang opisyal ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ng checkpoints sa pagsisimula ng Election Period at Gun Ban para sa Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

Sa pagsisimula ng election period, epektibo na rin kasi ang nationwide gun ban.

Dito sa East Avenue corner Elliptical Road, QC, may nakapwesto nang COMELEC checkpoint signage kung saan nakasulat rin ang pangalan at numero ng opisyal at COMELEC representative.

Dito, pinapaalalahanan ang mga motoristang mapapadaan na pansamantalang tumigil, at ibaba ang bintana ng sasakyan upang masilip ng checkpoint officer ang loob nito.
