Mga kumpanyang Hapon, hinihikayat ng DOTr para lumahok sa bidding para sa PPP Projects

Patuloy ang ginagawang panliligaw ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista sa mga Japanese Company para mamuhunan sa Pilipinas.

Sa kanyang pagdalo sa Pihlippine Investment Opportunities Forum sa Tokyo, tatlong proyekto sa ilalim ng Public Private Partnerhship (PPPs) ang kaniyang iniaalok sa mga negosyanteng Hapon.

Dalawa aniya sa mga ito ay sa ilalim ng railway sector, habang may isa naman sa aviation o airports na ang bidding ay malapit nang buksan.

Sinabi pa ni Bautisata na iniimbitahan din nila ang mga pribadong kumpanya na lumahok sa bidding para sa operations and maintenance contract ng Metro Manila Subway Project gayundin ng North-South Commuter Railway Project.

Para sa MMSP, nagkakahalaga ng ₱76.89-bilyong piso ang operations and maintenance sa mga istasyon, depot, at subway trains sa 36 na kilometro na railway sa loob ng 15 taon.

Nasa ₱204.6-bilyong piso naman ang halaga ng proyekto para sa North-South Commuter Railway para sa operations and maintenance project habang sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ay nagkakahalaga ng ₱170.6-billion. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
