Mga motorcycle rider na gumagamit sa bicycle lane sa EDSA, huhulihin na ng MMDA

Maghihigpit na ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) sa mga gumagamit ng bicycle lane sa EDSA.

Simula bukas, Agosto 21, lahat nang motorcycle riders na dadaan sa linya para sa bisikleta ay huhulihin na ng mga traffic enforcer.

Base sa monitoring ng MMDA, napakarami nang motorcycle ang dumaraan sa bicycle lane.

Nilinaw ng MMDA na ang bicycle lane ay inilaan para sa mga siklista o nagbibisikleta, hindi para sa mga motorcycle riders at hindi rin ito fast lane para sa kanila.

Batay pa rin sa obserbasyon ng MMDA, hindi na nagagamit ng mga nagbibisikleta ang kanilang lane dahil okupado na ng mga nagmomotorsiklo .

Pinaalalahanan din ang lahat na ang pagbabalewala sa traffic sign ay isang paglabag na may kaakibat na Php1,000 na multa.| ulat ni Rey Ferrer
