National Wellness Program para sa health workers, inilunsad ng DOH

Pormal nang inilunsad ngayong araw ng Department of Health (DOH) ang National Wellness Program para sa mga health worker.

Sa isinagawang Launching kanina sa UP College of Medicine sa Maynila, nasa 7,200 health worker ang isasailalim sa naturang programa.

Ayon sa DOH, layunin nito na matugunan ang well-being ng mga medical frontliner matapos silang mapasabak sa matinding pagsubok sa kasagsagan ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Sa kaniyang pahayag, sinabi ng nurse na si Ivy Remulla, Unit Head mula sa Albay Provincial Hospital, mahalagang mapangalagaan ang kapakanan ng mga health worker lalo’t sila ang unang humaharap sa tuwing kumakalat ang isang karamdaman 

Sa pamamagitan aniya ng programang ito, sinabi ni nurse Remulla, na patunay lamang na laging katuwang ng mga health frontliner ang pamahalaan sa pagtataguyod ng kanilang kapakanan.

Kasunod nito, sinabi ng DOH na kanilang palalawakin ang nasabing programa sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa upang mabigyan ng ibayong pagtutok ang kapakanan ng mga Pinoy health worker. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
