Muling iginiit ni Sen. Imee Marcos ang pagtutol nito sa panukalang pagkaltas sa sahod ng mga pulis at militar para mapondohan ang kanilang pensyon.

Inihayag ito ng senador sa pagdalo nito sa selebrasyon ng ika-122 police service anniversary ng QCPD na ginanap sa Kampo Karingal sa QC.

Ayon kay Sen. Marcos, araw-araw na itinataya ng mga pulis ang kanilang buhay para makapagserbisyo sa bayan kaya hindi tamang bawasan pa ang kanilang sahod para sa pensyon.

Aniya, maaari pa namang hanapan ng ibang paraan para mapondohan ang MUP pension na magiging “sustainable.”

Una nang tiniyak ng Kongreso na hahanapan nito ng solusyon ang mga isyu kaugnay ng pensyon ng military and uniformed personnel (MUP) bago matapos ang taon.
