Ilulunsad na ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ang Project TRANSFORM (Transdisciplinary Approach for Resilient and Sustainable Communities through Multistakeholder Engagement) sa Abucay, Bataan.
Layon nitong gawing simple ang mga climate change efforts ng pamahalaan.
Ang Project TRANSFORM ay ang pagsasama-sama ng best practices ng LGUs, private sectors sa paghahatid ng inclusive, science-based, at data-driven template sa mas pinabilis na aksyon para sa climate emergency.
Kasunod ito ng paglagda ng Memorandum of Agreement sa pagitan nina DENR Undersecretary for Field Operations Juan Miguel Cuna at nina Bataan Provincial Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III at Abucay Municipal Mayor Ruben Tagle.
Sa ilalim ng Project TRANSFORM, ang DENR kasama ang mga partner groups ay magkatuwang na ipatutupad ang Abucay Mangrove Adoption and Protection Project sa Sitio Bakawan sa Wawa at Calaylayan. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
