Wage distortion, pinatutugunan sa mga kumpanya ng Wage Board

Nagpalabas ng abiso ang National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) para sa pagsasaayos ng wage distortion sa mga kumpanya.

Ito ay matapos ang pagtataas ng minimum na sweldo sa Metro Manila.

Ang Wage Advisory No. 1 Series of 2023 ay magsisilbing gabay sa mga kumpanya para itama ang posibleng pagkakaroon ng wage distortion matapos maipatupad ang minimum wage orders.

Sa nasabing abiso, iginiit ng Wage Board ang isinasaad sa Labor Code tungkol sa wage distortion at nagbigay ng suggested formulas na may sample computations para matugunan ito.

Ayon sa Wage Board, mahalagang maiayos ang wage distortions sa kumpanya para mapanatili ang morale ng mga empleyado at maayos na pagtatrabaho.

Ayon sa NWPC, maaaring humingi ng gabay at technical assistance ang mga kumpanya sa Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards kapag may kinakaharap na wage distortion concerns. | ulat ni Lorenz Tanjoco
