Ang Department of Agriculture (DA) sa pamamagitam ng kaniyang Rice Program, Philippine Rice Board, kasama ang Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) ng Davao del Sur at bayan ng Hagonoy at iba pang attached agencies ay naghahanda na ngayon para sa nalalapit na 16th National Rice Technology Forum (NRTF) na ilulunsad sa September 19 hanggang September 21, 2023 sa Davao del Sur Coliseum, Matti, Digos City.
Ang 3 araw na techno forum ay inaasahang dadaluhan ng mahigit 900 participants mula sa iba’t ibang rehiyon ng Pilipinas at iba pang banyagang bansa .
Bukod sa techno forum, mayroon ding techno market at field visit, kung saan ang mga magsasaka ay i-expose sa mga bag-ong technologies tulad ng biofertilizers, seed (hybrid at inbred) varieties at soil nutrient forum.
