“Bicol Express” modernization project, itinutulak ng Bicol Solon

Nanawagan si Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Raymund  Yamsuan sa Department of Transportation and Railways  na itaguyod ang Public Private Partnership mode para sa modernisasyon ng “Bicol Express.”

Ang “Bicol Express” ay ang riles ng Philippine National Railways na biyaheng Maynila papuntang Albay.

Ayon kay Yamsuan, nakakuha siya ng katiyakan mula kay DOTr Usec. Cesar Chavez na nanatiling prayoridad ng Marcos Jr. Administration ang “Bicol Express” o South Long Haul Project.

Aniya sakaling hindi magtuloy ang pagpopondo ng China sa proyekto, dapat ituloy ito ng DOTr sa pamamagitan ng Private Public Partnership (PPP) para matuloy ang proyekto dahil matagal na itong pangarap ng mga taga Bicol.

Kasama ang South Long Haul Project sa listahan ng Build Better More Infra program ng Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na may alokasyon na budget na P3 billion para sa taong 2023.| ulat ni Melany V. Reyes
