Comelec, inaprubahan na ang kahilingan ng DSWD para sa exemption ng BSKE spending ban

Inaprubahan ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang kahilingan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DSWD) para sa exemption sa Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) spending ban.

Saklaw ng exemption ang pamamahagi ng subsidy sa mga rice retailer na apektado ng mandated price cap sa bigas.

Nauna nang sinabi ni DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian kanina sa press briefing sa Malacañang, na magpapatuloy ang cash aid sa mga micro rice retailer matapos pagbigyan ng Comelec ang kahilingan ng ahensya para sa exemption sa election ban.

Ayon sa DSWD, ang deadline kasi nila para ipatupad ang utos ng Pangulo ay hanggang September 14, Huwebes, kung saan dapat ay sakop na nito ang lahat ng rehiyon sa bansa. | ulat ni Michael Rogas
