DICT, nangakong tutulong sa pag-iimbestiga at pag-restore ng website ng Philhealth matapos ang nangyaring cyber attack

Nangako ang Department of Information and Communications Technology na tutulong sa imbestigasyon at sa pagre-restore ng website matapos atakihin ng Medusa ransomware ang kanilang webpage.

Ayon kay DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy, tutulong na sila sa imbestigasyon sa nangyaring cyber attacks sa Philhealth upang maayos na ang kanilang data servers at hindi na lumawak pa ang ma-hack ng naturang cyber group.

Dagdag pa ni Uy, ire-restore din nila ang webpage ng Philhealth upang muli makapaghatid ng serbsiyo sa publiko at hindi na maulit ang ganitong pag-atake.

Sa huli, muli namang nanawagan si Secretary Uy sa iba pang goverment agencies na may mga ksariling webpage na mas higpitan ang server security upang maiwasan ang ganitong klase ng pag-atake ng mga hacker. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
