DMW, ipinasara ang isang recruitment agency sa Parañaque City na nag-operate ng walang lisensya

Ipinasara ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) ang isang maritime recruitment agency kung saan ito ay illegal na nag-operate ng walang lisensya.

Ayon kay DMW Officer In Charge Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac, ang naturang complaint ay mula sa isang overseas Filipino worker (OFW) applicant na nag-apply at pinangakuan ng malaking sweldo.

Kung saan nakapagbigay na ang naturang seafarer ng nasa P105,000 processing fee para sa kanyang pagtungo sa Dubai.

Dagdag pa ni Cacdac, na sasampahan ng kaukulang kaso na illegal recruitment ang RTm Maritime Agency.

Hinikayat naman ni DMW OIC Cacdac ang iba pang nabiktima ng naturang agency, na tumungo sa kanilang tanggapan upang magsampa pa ng karagdagdang kaso sa natruang kumpanya. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
