Iba pang programa ng DSWD, exempted rin sa election ban

Bukod sa SLP-cash assistance para sa rice retailers, kinumpirma ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na ilan pang programa ng ahensya ang napagbigyan ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) na ma-exempt sa election spending ban.

Ayon kay DSWD Assistant Secretary Rommel Lopez, kasama sa mga programang magpapatuloy ang Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, Food Stamp Program (FSP), Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program, Oplan Pag-Abot, Project Lawa, Social Pension Program, Centenarian Program, at Supplemental Feeding Program.

Ibig sabihin, tuloy-tuloy lang ang distribusyon ng ayuda sa mga naturang programa mula Setyembre hanggang Oktubre.

Kaugnay nito, napahintulutan rin ang DSWD na patuloy na gamitin ang pondo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Bangsamoro Umpungan sa Nutrisyon (BangUn), Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAPH), Kalahi-CIDSS, Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan or PAMANA Program, Recovery and Reintegration Program for Trafficked Persons (RRPTP), Psychosocial care at support para sa persons living with HIV at kanilang pamilya.

Ilan pa sa programang exempted sa election ban ang Targeted Cash Transfer Program (TCT), MNLF Transformation Program, Beneficiary First Project, Residential and Non-residential Care Program, Philippine Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Project, Socio-Economic Program for Normalization of the Commissioned Combatant, at Modified Shelter Assistance Project.

Pagtitiyak pa ng DSWD, magpapatuloy ang pagbibigay nito ng assistance para sa mga naapektuhan ng kalamidad, early recovery and rehabilitation programs, at iba pang programa para sa mahihirap at marginalized sector.
