Kasabay ito ng paggunita sa ika-10 anibersaryo ng Bohol earthquake na tumama sa lalawigan noong Oktubre 15, 2013.
Pangungunahan ng Office of Civil Defense (OCD) at National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) ang “ceremonial pressing of the button” sa Tagbilaran, Bohol.
Dito’y masusubukan ang earthquake emergency plans ng naturang siyudad sa simulasyon ng 7.2 magnitude earthquake scenario sa paggalaw ng East Bohol Fault.
Magkakaroon ng demonstration ng response capabilities; command and control systems at kahandaan ng mga ahensya sa pagresponde sa mass casualty, gumuhong mga istraktura, sunog at iba pa.
Muling hinikayat ni Civil Defense Administrator at NDRRMC Executive Director Undersecretary Ariel Nepomuceno ang publiko na makilahok sa pagsasanay sa pamamagitan ng pagsubaybay sa livestream sa facebook page ng Civil Defense PH at NDRRMC. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
