Hinihikayat ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Singaporean businessmen na maging bahagi ng layunin ng Pilipinas na itaas ang renewable share sa power generation.

Maging ang pagbibigay ng mas murang kuryente, at mas malinis na enerhiya sa publiko.

Sa sidelines ng 10th Asia Summit Fireside Chat sa Singapore, partikular na ipinunto ng Pangulo ang policy change nito sa layong maka-engganyo ng foreign investment, at upang maabot ang long-term climate targets ng bansa.

“The policy change comes as the Philippines seeks to attract foreign investments to boost the renewable energy sector and to meet our long-term climate targets,” —Pangulong Marcos Jr.

Sabi ng Pangulo, ang start-up ecosystem ng bansa ay mayroong malaking potensyal lalo na dahil sa masigla at competent na workforce ng bansa.
