Nagkasa ngayong araw ng Anti-Dangling and Illegal Wire Attachments ang Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) partikular na sa kalye JB Miguel sa Brgy. Bambang, Pasig City.

Bahagi ito ng corporate social responsibility ng MERALCO, para maiwasan ang anumang kapahamakang naghihintay gaya ng sunog at pagbagsak ng mga poste dulot ng mga nakalaylay na kable, partikular na mula sa Telecommunication Company o TelCo.

Ayon kay MERALCO Spokesperson at Corporate Communications Head Joe Zaldarriaga, noong tumama kasi ang COVID-19 pandemic, maraming sinamantala ang sitwasyon sa pagpapakabit ng mga internet cable.
