Nakatakdang ilipat sa ibang pagsisilbihang barangay ang mga gurong magsisilbing Electoral Board na may kaanak na tatakbo sa nalalapit na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2023 (BSKE).

Sa naging panayam kay Atty. Marino Salas, COMELEC Pangasinan Election Supervisor, ang ganitong pamamaraan ay upang maiwasan ang pagkakaroon ng conflict of interest.

Nilinaw ni Salas na ang mga gurong may mga kaanak na tatakbo sa halalan ay hindi tuluyang aalisin bilang electoral board bagkos ililipat lamang ng barangay na pagsisilbihan.

Batay sa datos ng COMELEC, 23000 mga guro na magsisilbing Electoral board ang kinakaykangan ng tanggapan para sa darating na halalang pangbarangay.

Samantala, patuloy naman umano ang pagsasanay ng tanggapan ng COMELEC sa mga magsisilbing Electoral Board sa halalan. Tatagal ang pagsasanay na ito hanggang sa ikalawang linggo ng Oktobre.| ulat ni Ricky Casipit| RP1 Dagupan City
