Matagumpay na naharang ng Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao (NFEM) ang isang Indonesian motorized watercraft na KM PEJUANG DEVISA 2 na may kargang smuggled cigarettes sa karagatang bahagi ng Balut Island, Sarangani, Davao Occidental.

Ang nasabing sasakyang pandagat ay nahuli ng BRP Artemio Ricarte (PS37) ng Philippine Navy habang papunta ito sa patrol destination.

Nang siyasatin, tumambad ang nasa 296 master cases ng smuggled na sigarilyo na may halagang aabot sa P11,840,000.
