Binigyang diin ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang malaking ambag sa kinabukasan ng Pilipinas ng naging pagdalo ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa 10th Asian Summit sa Singapore.

Ayon sa House leader, ang presensya ng Pangulo sa naturang pulong ay nagpapakita ng kaniyang commitment na maibida ang Pilipinas bilang nangungunang investment destination lalo na sa renewable energy sector.

“Through his [President Marcos’] determined efforts, Singaporean businesses are being urged to view our nation as a primary investment destination, particularly in the renewable energy sector. The anticipated influx of investments in this field can potentially lead to greener energy solutions and more affordable electricity rates for Filipinos,” saad ni Romualdez.

Punto pa ng House Speaker na hindi lamang ito makatutulong para palakasin ang ugnayan ng Pilipinas at Singapore, bagkus ay oportunidad para makahikayat ng mga makakatuwang sa pagpapalago ng ekonomiya ng bansa at sa paglikha ng dagdag trabaho para sa mga Pilipino.

Sa naging biyahe ni PBBM ay hinimok nito ang Singaporean investors na mamuhunan sa Pilipinas dahil sa lumalagong ekonomiya ng bansa; ang bagong tatag na Maharlika Investment Fund; at ang mga regulatory reform na ipinatupad para buksan ang public service, retail, at renewable energy sa mga nais mamuhunan.
