Pinuri at pinasalamatan ni KABAYAN party-list Rep. Ron Salo ang Senado sa pagpasa sa Salt Industry Revitalization Bill.
“I thank and commend the Senate, particularly our co-champions Sen. Cynthia Villar, Sen. Joel Villanueva, Sen. Loren Legarda, and Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, for recognizing the importance of, and passing the Salt Industry Revitalization Bill,” aniya.
Bilang pangunahing sponsor ng panukala sa Kamara, sinabi ni Salo ang pagpapatibay ng Senado sa panukAla ay unang hakbang pa lamang para tuluyang maisakatuparan ang hangaring mapalakas muli ang industry ng pag-aasin sa bansa.
“Indeed, this brings us closer in realizing our goal of reviving our ailing salt industry and providing our salt farmers a decent and humane livelihood. This important step, however, is only the beginning of our commitment to reinvigorate our once robust Philippine salt industry,” dagdag ni Salo.
