Pinuri at pinasalamatan ni Senador Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) para sa pagputol sa floating barrier na inilatag ng China sa Bajo de Masinloc.

Ikinatuwa ng senador ang mabilis na pag aksyon ng PCG sa naturang insidente.

Sa pagdinig ng Senate Subcommittee on Finance sa panukalang 2024 Budget ng DOTr, binahagi ni PCG Commandant Admiral Artemio Abu na agad nilang sinunod ang utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na alisin ang floating bariers na ito.

Pinutol na aniya nila ang barrier at bukas nang muli para sa mga mangingisdang Pinoy ang bahaging iyon ng karagatan.

Tiniyak rin ni Abu na kumuha sila ng sapat na ebidensya tungkol sa naging aksyon ng China gaya ng mga litrato at video para magamit sakaling magdesisyon ang gobyerno na maghain ng reklamo.
