PhilHealth, inihahanda nang ibalik sa normal ang kanilang sistema

Target ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHILHEALTH) na maibalik na sa normal ngayong araw ang kanilang operasyon.

Ito ay matapos maapektuhan ng ransomware cyber-attack ang sistema ng ahensya.

Sinabi ni Philhealth President and ceo Emmanuel Ledesma Jr. sa pagdinig ng Senate Sub Committee on Finance sa panukalang 2024 budget ng Department of Health (DOH) ngayong hapon.

Sinabi naman ni Philhealth Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Eli Dino Santos na mula nang umatake ang ransomware noong September 22 ay in-off na ng Philhealth ang lahat ng kanilang sistema at lahat ng kanilang mga transaksyon ay ginagawa offline

Ngayon aniya ay nakahanda na silang i-on muli ang kanilang mga sistema at tinatapos na lang nila ang paglalatag ng mga preventive measures

Target nilang mabuksan na ang mga Philhealth website, Member portal at e-claims.
