Patuloy na nagbubunga ang maayos na liderato ni Speaker Martin Romualdez sa Kamara.
Ito ang tinuran ni Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga kasunod na rin ng 54% na performance at 555 trust rating na nakuha ng House of Representatives sa OCTA research survey.
“This simply means the Speaker – and that includes us representatives of our institution – is on the right track. Regardless of what naysayers have been saying, the people have apparently started appreciating the work that he did, and of course with us as support group,” ani Barzaga.
Ayon pa sa chairperson ng House Committee on Environment and Natural Resources na sa tamang lugar ang puso ng House speaker at tama ang ginagawa niyang trabaho.
Hamon naman aniya ito para sa buong institusyon na ipagpatuloy ang kanilang paglilingkod sa mga Pilipino.
Kabilang aniya rito ang mga panukalang batas na makatutulong para maiangat ang buhay ng mga Pilipino lalo na ang mga nasa below poverty line lalo ang target ng Marcos Jr. administration na makaahon mula ang bansa mula sa third-world status.
“Just like in basketball, we already did good in the first half of the game. So now, we will keep and even step up the pace until the end of the race,” dagdag ng mambabatas.
Para naman kay Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Gonzales Jr., lalo lamang ginaganahan ang Kamara na magtrabaho dahil sa positibong pagtanggap at pagtitiwala ng publiko sa Kapulungan.
“To know that more than half of our countrymen trust us and approve of what we have been doing in this chamber galvanizes us to push forward. If they like what they see, then more of it they will see,” sabi ni Gonzales.
Aniya, ipinapakita rin nito ang malaking tiwala ng taumbayan sa Marcos Jr. administration lalo na ang pagsisikap no Pang. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
“This high satisfaction, high trust rating of the House also reflects the public’s view of the administration of President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., who we can see is a hardworking Chief Executive.
