Tiniyak ni Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilbert Teodoro ang buong suporta ng DND at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa Commission on Elections (COMELEC), para sa darating na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Ang pagtiyak ay ginawa ng kalihim sa paglagda ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa pagitan ng DND at COMELEC Committee “Kontra Bigay”.

Ang paglagda ng MOA ni Sec. Teodoro at COMELEC Chairperson George Erwin M. Garcia, ay sinaksihan ni Commissioner Ernesto Ferdinand P. Maceda, Jr., Commissioner-in-Charge of the Committee on Kontra Bigay, at AFP Chief of Staff Gen Romeo S Brawner Jr.

Layon ng kasunduan na mapalakas ang kampanya kontra pagbili ng boto, at tuluyang wakasan ang impluwensya ng salapi sa prosesong demokratiko.
