Magbibigay ang Tingog Party-list na pinamumunuan ni Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez ng P3-milyong halaga ng medical assistance para sa biopsy test ng 200 pasyente sa ilalim ng Lung Ambition Alliance.

Sa ilalim ng Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) na nilagdaan ng Tingog Party-list at AstraZeneca Philippines, bibigyan ng pag-asa ang mga lung cancer patient na lumaban sa kanilang sakit.

Sa ngayon, ang kanser sa baga ay nananatiling nangungunang sanhi ng pagkamatay ng kanser sa Pilipinas.

Ayon kay Tingog Party-list Representative Yedda Marie Romualdez, ang MOU ay kumakatawan sa “power of partnership at collective action” ng gobyerno, lipunan, industriya, at international community sa iisang hangarin na sugpuin ang lung cancer.

Nagpasalamat si Rep. Romualdez sa mga nagtulong-tulong upang maging posible ang programa na lalaban sa lung cancer.

Ang MOU ay nilagdaan ni Tingog Rep. Romualdez, Tingog Rep, Jude Acidre, AZ Country President Lotis Ramin.
